Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) DP2, operating under NIS flag. The vessel supports offshore operations and requires a safety-focused deck rating with prior offshore experience and good English communication skills.

The role involves assisting deck operations, supporting DP-related activities, and ensuring safe execution of daily tasks in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with deck operations, mooring, cargo handling, and general seamanship duties
• Supporting offshore operations in coordination with deck officers and bridge team
• Acting as Banksman/Slinger during lifting operations (if certified)
• Maintaining deck equipment, housekeeping, and safety standards onboard
• Complying with HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the AB rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication skills (Marlins test required)
• Previous offshore / SOV experience preferred
• Banksman & Slinger certificate is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational crew

• Salary: EUR 4,422 per month (gross)

• Subject to 9.6% social security deductions for candidates from EE, LT, PL, LV
