Job Description: We are seeking an Able Seafarer (AB) with gangway operations experience to join a pipelay vessel operating in the Baltic Sea. The role involves supporting deck operations during offshore pipeline installation activities, with a strong focus on safe gangway operations and general deck duties in a dynamic offshore construction environment. The assignment is planned for a mid-June start on a rotational project basis.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Perform safe gangway operations during offshore transfer and access activities
• Support pipelay vessel deck operations and offshore construction tasks
• Assist with mooring, rigging, and general deck maintenance duties
• Ensure compliance with vessel safety procedures and offshore standards
• Work as part of the deck crew during 24/7 offshore operations
Requirements: • Valid Able Seafarer Certificate of Competency (CoC II/5)
• Full STCW certification in hand
• HUET with CA-EBS certification
• FRB (Fast Rescue Boat) certificate
• AFF (Advanced Fire Fighting) certificate
• Proven gangway operations experience (mandatory)
• Offshore pipelay or construction vessel experience preferred
