Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) for an upcoming offshore project in EU waters. The assignment offers a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation with mobilization scheduled for 18 August. Candidates with a strong offshore background, rigging experience, and deck crane operation certifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out deck operations including mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling.
Support offshore lifting and rigging activities.
Operate deck cranes in accordance with company procedures and certification.
Perform routine deck maintenance and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with all offshore HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Able Seaman CoC II/5
Valid Rigging Certificates
Valid Deck Crane Operator Certificates
Strong offshore experience on Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs)
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
