Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Offshore Able Seaman (AB) for offshore operations in the United Kingdom.
The role involves supporting deck operations in a safety-critical offshore environment. Candidates must be fully compliant with UK offshore requirements and ready to join on the stated start date.
• Offshore Able Seaman (AB)
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with all deck operations and offshore activities
• Safe handling of mooring, lifting, and deck equipment
• Supporting cargo operations and vessel maintenance
• Compliance with HSE, ISM, and company safety procedures
• Participation in drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
• Working effectively within a multinational offshore crew
• UK Right to Work / UK Work Permit – mandatory
• AB Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Full STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
• GWO Sea Survival (SS)
• GWO Working at Height (WAH)
• Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• OGUK Medical Certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Offshore experience in a similar role
• Good English communication skills
• Rotation: 6 weeks ± (regular work pattern)
