Job Description:
Team Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for an offshore assignment based in Las Palmas. This is a 4-week contract with immediate mobilization. The successful candidate will support offshore deck operations, cargo handling, and vessel maintenance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations.
Assist with offshore lifting and deck activities.
Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation work.
Support crane and lifting operations as a Banksman & Slinger when required.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with all company HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Able Seaman Certificate of Competency (CoC II/5)
Valid OEUK Medical
Valid Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent)
Valid Banksman & Slinger Certificate
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
