AB for Multicat Vessel (UK)

Job Description

Faststream is recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) to join a Multicat vessel for a UK offshore assignment.

The contract is scheduled from 15 September to 14 October 2026. Due to contract requirements, candidates must be from the UK or a NATO country and must hold the required UK work permit.

Experience with buoy maintenance and mooring operations is beneficial, while enclosed-space and crane/slinger qualifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform general deck duties and assist with daily Multicat operations.
• Support mooring, buoy maintenance, and deck-handling activities.
• Assist with lifting, cargo handling, and deployment of equipment.
• Maintain deck equipment and work areas.
• Follow all vessel safety and security procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate
• Security Duties – Mandatory
• Enclosed Space Training – Preferred
• Crane / Slinger Certificate – Preferred
• Buoy Maintenance / Mooring experience – Beneficial
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• UK Work Permit – Required
• UK or NATO country nationality – Required due to contract requirements
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
