Job Description:
TOS is looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Multicat Vessel operating in Africa. The successful candidate will support daily deck operations, vessel maintenance, mooring, lifting, and other maritime activities onboard.
Candidates with previous Multicat Vessel experience are encouraged to apply. The position offers a 4 months on / 2 months off rotation, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with daily deck operations, mooring, anchoring, and towing activities.
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and equipment inspections.
Assist with lifting, rigging, and handling of deck equipment and materials.
Support officers and senior deck crew during vessel operations.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
All certificates and travel documents must be valid and up to date.
Previous experience on Multicat Vessels is required/preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a European crew environment.
Good English communication skills.
Loyal, committed, and highly motivated.
Maximum age: 45 years.
