Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an LCT Cargo Vessel operating on domestic routes. The successful candidate will assist in safe navigation, cargo handling, mooring operations, and general deck maintenance while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations.
Maintain deck equipment, hull, and safety gear.
Assist bridge officers during navigation and watchkeeping.
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of deck areas.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Able Seafarer certification (where applicable)
Previous experience as an Able Seaman on cargo vessels is preferred
Valid passport and seaman's book
