Job Description:
Sheffield Energies is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for a short-term offshore assignment onboard a Jack-Up Heavy Maintenance & Construction Vessel in Rotterdam. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, lifting support, maintenance, and offshore construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance duties.
Assist with offshore construction and lifting operations.
Support cargo handling and equipment transfers.
Maintain deck equipment and safety gear.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
European or Malaysian nationality
Previous offshore AB experience
Valid UK Work Permit
GWO Working at Heights
GWO Manual Handling
Chester Step Test
HUET including CA-EBS
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
