Job Description:
Faststream is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) Vessel operating in UK waters. The position is offered on a 4-week contract, with joining scheduled for 26 August 2026. Due to project requirements, candidates must be UK citizens and hold valid UK Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carrying out general deck and seamanship duties onboard the AHTS vessel
• Assisting with anchor handling, towing, mooring, and deck operations
• Supporting cargo handling and offshore operations
• Maintaining deck equipment and work areas in safe working condition
• Following vessel, security, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Previous AHTS experience required
• Valid UK Security Clearance
• UK citizens only
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant maritime documents
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Passport
• Good English communication skills
• Availability to join on 26 August 2026
