Job Description:
A vacancy is available for an Able Seaman (AB) to join a Heavy Lift Crane Vessel operating in European waters, with planned joining on 05 May. The vessel is involved in heavy lifting operations, likely supporting offshore construction or installation projects. This position requires an experienced AB capable of assisting with complex deck operations, cargo handling, and maintaining safety standards during lifting activities. The contract is under Polish terms, with a rotational schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with heavy lift and crane operations on deck
• Handling mooring, rigging, and lifting equipment
• Supporting offshore installation and construction activities
• Maintaining deck equipment and ensuring operational readiness
• Following strict safety procedures during lifting and cargo operations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• COC II/5 – Able Seaman (mandatory)
• Previous experience on heavy lift or offshore vessels preferred
