Job Description:

PASAT is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a dredging vessel. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, mooring and anchoring activities, deck maintenance, and general vessel operations.

The candidate must be familiar with onboard safety procedures, emergency drills, and safe working practices. Previous experience on dredging vessels or similar offshore and marine vessels is considered an advantage.

Project details, working schedule, contract duration, salary, and joining date are to be confirmed by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck duties, including mooring and anchoring operations.

• Assist with deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and equipment upkeep.

• Support vessel operations and follow instructions from the deck officers.

• Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working areas in accordance with onboard procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as an Able Seaman on a commercial vessel.

• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.

• Valid seafarer’s medical fitness certificate.

• Valid passport, seaman’s book, and required travel documents.

• Previous experience on dredging vessels or similar offshore vessels is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural crew.
