Job Description:
We are recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) for a Temp to Perm position onboard a dredger operated by a UK-based dredging company. The vessel operates in UK and Continental Waters, supporting dredging projects under stable rotational employment. This role offers an initial temporary contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance. Accommodation and meals are provided onboard in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with deck operations during dredging activities
• Mooring, unmooring, and general seamanship duties
• Supporting safe vessel operations and watchkeeping
• Maintenance of deck equipment and work areas
• Compliance with safety, security, and company procedures

Requirements:
• Valid AB Certificate
• Valid STCW 95 certificates including:
– Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
– Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB)
– Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR)
– Elementary First Aid
– Fire Fighting
• Security Awareness Certificate
• Security Designated Duties Certificate
• Current unrestricted ENG1 medical certificate
• Valid Marlins English Test Certificate
• UK FWP (Frontier Worker Permit) is mandatory
• Experience on dredgers or similar vessels is preferred
