AB for CTV (UK)

Job Description

Faststream is recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) to join a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) for an offshore assignment in the UK.

Candidates will travel on 21 September 2026 and join the vessel on 22 September, with the assignment continuing until 20 October 2026.

Previous CTV experience is preferred, while a minimum EDH qualification is required. Crane/Slinger certification is beneficial for this role.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform general AB deck duties and support daily CTV operations.
• Assist with safe vessel berthing, mooring, and personnel transfer activities.
• Support cargo and equipment handling operations.
• Assist with deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Follow all vessel and offshore safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum EDH qualification – Required
• Previous CTV experience – Preferred
• Crane / Slinger Certificate – Beneficial
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
