AB for CTV (UK)

Job Description

An offshore operator is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operating from Eyemouth, Scotland.

The position offers a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation, with the next joining date scheduled for 22 September 2026. Previous CTV experience is mandatory, and candidates must hold a valid AB Certificate of Competency together with full STCW certification and a valid medical certificate.

Non-British candidates must have the required UK work permit / right to work.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform general deck duties and support daily CTV operations.
• Assist with mooring, berthing, unberthing, and vessel manoeuvring operations.
• Support safe transfer of personnel and equipment to and from offshore installations.
• Carry out routine deck maintenance and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Follow all vessel, maritime, and offshore safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Required
• CTV Experience – Mandatory
• Full valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• UK Work Permit / Right to Work – Required for non-British candidates
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
