AB for CTV

Job Description

An offshore operator is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operating from Eyemouth, Scotland.

The position offers a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation, with the next joining date scheduled for approximately 22 September 2026. Previous CTV experience is mandatory, and candidates must hold a valid AB Certificate of Competency, full STCW certification, and a valid medical certificate.

Non-British candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform daily deck operations and maintenance duties aboard the CTV.
• Assist with vessel manoeuvring, mooring, berthing, and passenger transfer operations.
• Support safe transfer of offshore personnel and equipment.
• Maintain deck equipment and ensure good housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company, vessel, and offshore safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• CTV experience – Mandatory
• Full valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• UK Work Permit / Right to Work – Required for non-British candidates
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
