Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an AHTS vessel on a temporary assignment in the offshore sector. The position starts on 26 August 2026 and runs until 24 September 2026.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, including routine maintenance, mooring, anchor handling, and other offshore activities. Experience with buoy maintenance and mooring operations would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with deck operations, mooring, anchor handling, and vessel maintenance.
Carry out routine deck inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.
Support buoy maintenance and mooring operations where required.
Assist with lifting and cargo-handling activities in accordance with safety procedures.
Maintain compliance with onboard HSE and operational requirements.
Requirements:
Valid AB Certificate.
Valid Navigational Watch Rating certification.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid ENG1 Medical.
Valid Security Duties certification.
Enclosed Space Training – preferred.
Crane / Slinger certification – preferred.
Experience with Buoy Maintenance / Mooring Operations – beneficial.
Relevant offshore/AHTS experience is preferred.
Good English communication skills.
