AB for AHTS Vessel (Angola)

Job Description

An experienced Able Seaman (AB) is required to join a DP-2 AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) Vessel supporting offshore operations in Angola.

The vessel is equipped with a DP-2 system and provides ROV support for offshore activities. The successful candidate must have relevant offshore experience and hold the required lifting and marine safety certifications, including Rigger Stage 3, Banksman Stage 3, BOSIET with CA-EBS, and GWO Sea Survival.

Diving experience is mandatory for this position.

The contract is approximately 8 weeks, with joining scheduled for 24 September 2026 in Angola. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform general deck duties and support safe offshore vessel operations.
• Assist with anchor handling, mooring, lifting, and deck operations.
• Carry out rigging and banksman/slinger duties in accordance with approved procedures.
• Support offshore and ROV operations as required.
• Maintain deck equipment and comply with all vessel HSE and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates as applicable to rank
• Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS
• Rigger Stage 3 – Required
• Banksman Stage 3 – Required
• Diving experience – Required
• GWO Sea Survival – Required
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seaman's book
• Relevant offshore / AHTS experience
• Proficiency in English communication
