Job Description:
We are urgently looking for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an AHTS vessel in Angola. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 weeks, with joining scheduled for 24 September 2026.
Candidates must hold the required offshore safety certifications and additional qualifications in rigging and banksman operations. Rigger Stage 3, Banksman Stage 3, and diving experience are specifically required.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out general deck duties and maintenance onboard the AHTS.
- Assisting with anchor handling, towing, mooring, and deck operations.
- Performing rigging and banksman duties during offshore operations.
- Supporting lifting and cargo-handling activities safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with diving-related deck operations where required.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates as per rank.
- Valid BOSIET certificate.
- Valid CA-EBS.
- Rigger Stage 3 – required.
- Banksman Stage 3 – required.
- Previous diving experience.
- Relevant AB / offshore vessel experience.
- Valid seafarer documents and medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Available to join in Angola on 24 September 2026.
