AB for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) to assist with deck operations and offshore support activities aboard an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform deck duties, including mooring, anchoring, and anchor-handling support.
• Assist with towing operations and preparation of deck equipment.
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and inspections.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.
• Follow instructions from the Bosun and deck officers and comply with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Able Seafarer Deck qualification and relevant certificates, as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience, preferably on AHTS or offshore support vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable offshore certificates.
