Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AB / Cook to join a Tugboat in the UK for a short-term 4-week assignment.
The successful candidate must hold valid AB certification and have previous tugboat experience, as well as practical onboard cooking experience. A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out general AB deck duties and maintenance.
- Assisting with mooring, towing, and other tugboat operations.
- Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
- Preparing meals and assisting with onboard catering.
- Maintaining proper food hygiene and galley cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Full and valid STCW certificates.
- Relevant AB certification.
- Previous tugboat experience.
- Previous onboard cooking experience.
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Valid seafarer documents.
- Good English communication skills.
- Available to start on 12 September 2026.
