Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced AB / Cook to join a Tug Vessel operating in Italian and Algerian waters.

The successful candidate will combine deck duties with onboard catering responsibilities, supporting safe vessel operations while preparing meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of galley hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine deck operations and maintenance.
• Assist with mooring, towing and general tug operations.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas in safe condition.
• Prepare daily meals for the crew.
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene standards.
• Manage food storage and assist with provisioning.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
• Comply with company procedures and instructions from the Master.
• Support general vessel operations as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an AB / Cook – mandatory.
• Valid Cook Certificate – mandatory.
• Valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
• Ability and willingness to work in an offshore environment.
• Ability to obtain an Algerian visa – mandatory.
• Relevant maritime certificates and documentation.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and STCW documentation, as applicable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Availability to join ASAP.
