Job Description:
PT. Benteng Marine Service is seeking an experienced AB Cook to join a Guard Vessel. The vessel will join in Poland on September 9, 2026 and will operate in the Netherlands. The AB Cook will combine deck duties with responsibility for preparing meals for the crew and maintaining appropriate galley and food-service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine Able Seaman deck duties and assist with vessel operations.
- Support mooring, maintenance, and other deck activities.
- Prepare daily meals for the crew.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food-storage areas.
- Follow onboard safety and food-handling procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
- Documents valid for at least 15 months.
- Valid Schengen Visa – mandatory.
- Good English communication skills.
- Relevant experience as an AB Cook.
- Ready for the scheduled joining date.
