Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is currently recruiting an experienced AB Cook to join a dredging vessel in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The successful candidate will combine deck duties as an Able Seaman with responsibility for preparing meals and maintaining food hygiene standards onboard. The position is scheduled to commence on 3 August 2026 and will operate on a 5-week rotation.
Candidates must hold the required AB and Cook qualifications together with valid maritime documentation and medical certification.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Performing Able Seaman duties and assisting with routine deck operations.
Carrying out mooring, maintenance and general deck activities as required.
Preparing meals for the crew and maintaining high food quality standards.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food preparation areas.
Following vessel safety procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid AB Certificate of Competency (COC).
Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (COC).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
Valid Passport.
Valid Seaman's Book.
Valid Medical certificate.
Previous experience on dredging vessels is preferred.
Good English communication skills.
