Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for the position of 3rd Officer to join a Cable Lay Vessel operating within the European Union. This is a short-term assignment of approximately 4 weeks with an immediate joining required (ASAP).
The vessel is engaged in cable installation operations, and the successful candidate will support navigational watchkeeping and assist in deck operations related to cable laying activities. Previous experience onboard cable lay vessels is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Maintaining navigational watch in accordance with STCW regulations
• Assisting senior officers with cable laying operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Supporting deck operations during project activities
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and navigational records
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as 3rd Officer
• Cable lay vessel experience preferred
