Job Description:
Zakher Marine International is seeking an experienced Second Officer to join offshore vessels including Crew Boats and AHTS vessels operating in offshore marine environments.
The successful candidate will support the Master and Chief Officer in safe navigation, bridge operations, vessel safety, and offshore activities. Candidates must have relevant rank experience and preferably offshore vessel experience.
The position is offered on a rotational offshore contract with international marine operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Master and Chief Officer with safe navigation and bridge watchkeeping duties.
Perform passage planning, navigation monitoring, and maintain bridge records.
Support offshore operations including anchor handling and vessel manoeuvring activities.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, ISM Code, and maritime safety regulations.
Participate in safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness onboard.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as Second Officer
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Minimum 2 years of experience in the same rank or 1 year experience onboard offshore vessels
Offshore vessel experience preferred (Crew Boat / AHTS)
Valid passport and Seaman’s Book

Contract Duration: 90 days onboard / 30 days leave rotation (90/30)
