2nd Officer for Floating Crane Vessel

Job Description:

PT. Maritime Manning Nusantara is urgently looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Floating Crane Vessel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational duties, voyage planning, safety procedures, and assisting the Chief Officer with deck operations. Previous experience in the same position on a similar vessel is required. Experience working with Chinese crew members is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Chief Officer with navigation and bridge operations.
• Preparing and maintaining passage plans and navigational records.
• Monitoring navigational equipment and maintaining bridge watch.
• Ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Supporting deck operations and coordinating with other departments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as 2nd Officer is mandatory.
• Experience on Floating Crane or similar offshore vessels.
• Experience working with Chinese crew members.
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ready to join at short notice.
