Wiper for Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels

Job Description:

PTC is recruiting a Wiper to support engine-room operations aboard a Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels. The successful candidate will assist the engineering team with cleaning, routine maintenance, and general engine-room duties.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Clean engine-room spaces and assigned machinery areas.
• Assist engineers and engine-room personnel with routine maintenance.
• Handle tools and equipment safely under supervision.
• Help maintain orderly storage of supplies and materials.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Wiper or in an engine-room support role.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the engine department.
