Job Description:
SeaCrest Maritime Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Wiper to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. The position is open to Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only. Candidates must have completed at least one full contract on an international trading vessel. The Wiper will assist the engine department with cleaning, maintenance, machinery checks, and general engine room duties.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineering officers and engine room crew with routine maintenance.
Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and engine room work areas.
Assist with lubrication and basic inspection of machinery.
Support repair and maintenance activities as directed by engineers.
Follow engine room safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only
Minimum 1 completed full contract on an international trading vessel
Previous Wiper / engine department experience preferred
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Valid seafarer's documents
