Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting a Wiper to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The Wiper will assist the engine department with cleaning, housekeeping, lubrication, routine maintenance, and other engine-room support duties under the supervision of engineering officers and ratings.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping in the engine room.
• Support routine machinery maintenance and lubrication.
• Assist engineers and engine-room ratings during maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow all engine-room safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Wiper / engine-room experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant seafarer's documentation
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
