Wiper for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting a Wiper with previous tanker vessel experience for an LPG Tanker Vessel. The Wiper will support the engine department with cleaning, housekeeping, machinery maintenance assistance, and other engine-room duties under the supervision of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining engine-room spaces and machinery.
• Assisting engineers and engine-room ratings with routine maintenance.
• Supporting lubrication, housekeeping, and machinery preparation activities.
• Handling tools and equipment as instructed.
• Following all vessel safety and engine-room procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Wiper experience on a tanker vessel is required.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seaman’s book and relevant seafarer documents.
• Previous LPG/tanker experience is an advantage.
