Wiper for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently recruiting a Wiper to join its Container Carrier fleet.

The Wiper will provide general support to the engine department, including engine-room cleaning, housekeeping, lubrication, and assistance during maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room cleaning and housekeeping.
• Support routine lubrication and maintenance.
• Assist engineers and engine-room ratings during repairs.
• Maintain tools, machinery spaces, and work areas.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Wiper / engine-room experience
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant Container Carrier experience preferred
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
