Wiper for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

ASM is inviting applications from Wipers to support engine-room operations aboard chemical tankers. The role involves cleaning machinery spaces, assisting engineering personnel, and performing routine support duties to maintain safe and orderly working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Clean engine-room spaces and assigned machinery areas.
• Assist engineers with routine maintenance tasks.
• Handle tools and equipment safely under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the engine room.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Wiper or in an engine-room support role.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the engine department.
