Wiper for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Dese Crew Management is recruiting an experienced Wiper for a Bulk Carrier operating in the HRA trade area. The Wiper will support the engineering department with engine-room cleaning, housekeeping, lubrication, maintenance assistance, and other assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining engine-room spaces and machinery.
• Assisting engineers and engine-room ratings with routine maintenance.
• Supporting lubrication and machinery preparation activities.
• Handling tools and equipment as instructed.
• Following vessel safety and engine-room procedures.

Requirements

• Indonesian seafarers only.
• Previous experience as Wiper on a Bulk Carrier is required.
• Experience must be in the same rank and same vessel type.
• All required certificates and documents must be valid for a minimum of 18 months.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seaman’s book and relevant documents.
