Job Description
Minerva Marine Agency, Inc. is looking for qualified Fitters / Welders to carry out mechanical maintenance, fabrication, and repair work onboard its vessels.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform fitting, fabrication, and welding tasks as assigned.
- Assist with mechanical repairs and maintenance of vessel equipment.
- Inspect tools and equipment before use.
- Follow hot-work procedures and onboard safety requirements.
- Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements
- Relevant Fitter / Welder qualifications and practical experience.
- Applicable welding certificates, where required.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
- Relevant seagoing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication and valid seafarer’s documents.
