Job Description:
Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Pumpman to join tanker vessels. The Pumpman will support safe and efficient tanker cargo operations, including operation and maintenance of cargo pumps, valves, pipelines, and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and monitor cargo pumps and related tanker systems.
Assist with loading, discharge, stripping, and ballast operations.
Maintain cargo pipelines, valves, pumps, and associated equipment.
Carry out routine inspections and report defects or abnormalities.
Follow tanker safety, pollution prevention, and cargo-handling procedure
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant Pumpman certification as applicable
Previous Pumpman experience on VLCC, Aframax, Suezmax, or similar tankers
Good knowledge of tanker cargo operations and pumping systems
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
