Pumpman for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Pumpman for tanker vessels, including VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax vessels. The Pumpman will support safe and efficient cargo operations and maintain cargo pumps, valves, pipelines, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating and maintaining cargo pumping systems and related equipment.
• Assisting with loading, discharging, stripping, and ballast operations.
• Inspecting pumps, valves, pipelines, and cargo equipment.
• Supporting tank cleaning and cargo-related maintenance activities.
• Following tanker safety and cargo-handling procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant Pumpman experience on oil tankers.
• Tanker experience on VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax vessels is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates and tanker-related training as applicable.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
