Job Description

Winning Logistic is recruiting an experienced Pumpman to join a tanker vessel with a gross tonnage exceeding 12,000.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection and maintenance of cargo pumps and associated equipment, supporting safe and efficient tanker cargo operations. Candidates must have previous experience in the same rank onboard tanker vessels and be familiar with SIRE inspection requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and maintain cargo pumps and associated equipment.
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging and tank-cleaning operations as assigned.
• Monitor cargo-handling equipment and report defects or abnormalities.
• Follow tanker cargo procedures and onboard safety requirements.
• Maintain equipment and working areas in good condition.
• Cooperate with deck officers and other crew members during cargo operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pumpman onboard tanker vessels.
• Experience on tanker vessels exceeding 12,000 GRT, as specified by the employer.
• Valid certificates in accordance with STCW 2010.
• Valid BST MSC 560 certificate, as specified in the recruitment announcement.
• All documents and certificates must remain valid for a minimum of 18 months.
• Familiarity with SIRE inspections.
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Valid passport, seaman’s book and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Knowledge of tanker safety procedures and cargo-handling operations.
