Job Description:
The Pumpman will operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated systems on oil and chemical tankers, ensuring safe and efficient transfer of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate cargo and ballast pumps during operations
• Perform routine maintenance on pumping systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Assist in inspections and reporting of pump performance
• Support deck and engineering teams as needed
Requirements:
• Certification relevant to Pumpman role
• Experience on oil/chemical tankers preferred
• Knowledge of pumping systems and safety procedures
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English
