Job Description:
Translift Ship Management, Inc. is hiring experienced Pumpman to join domestic Oil Tanker vessels. Candidates must have previous tanker experience and be available for September joining. The Pumpman will be responsible for supporting cargo operations, maintaining cargo pumps and related equipment, and assisting with safe and efficient tanker operations onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate and assist with maintenance of cargo pumps and pumping systems.
- Support loading, discharge, and cargo transfer operations.
- Inspect and maintain cargo equipment and related systems.
- Assist with tank cleaning and other cargo-related operations as required.
- Follow tanker safety procedures and company operational standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant Pump Man certification and seafarer's documents.
- Previous tanker experience is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of tanker cargo operations and pumping systems.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Availability for September joining.
