Job Description:
KJCM Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced Pumpman to join a Suezmax Oil Tanker.
Candidates must have proven experience operating and maintaining centrifugal pumps. The successful candidate will support cargo and pump-room operations, ensuring pumps and related equipment are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operating and maintaining cargo and centrifugal pump systems.
- Assisting with pump-room and cargo operations.
- Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance of pumps and related equipment.
- Monitoring pump performance and reporting defects or abnormalities.
- Following onboard cargo handling, safety, and pollution prevention procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Pumpman.
- Centrifugal pump experience required.
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Relevant Oil Tanker experience preferred.
