Job Description

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is seeking an experienced Pumpman to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker / VLGC Vessels. The Pumpman will support cargo operations, maintain cargo pumping systems, and assist with the safe handling and transfer of liquid cargoes.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with cargo loading, discharging, and transfer operations.
• Operate and monitor cargo pumps and associated equipment.
• Inspect and maintain cargo pipelines, valves, and pumping systems.
• Assist with tank preparation, cleaning, and cargo-related operations.
• Follow cargo handling, safety, and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Pumpman experience
• Relevant experience on Oil/Chemical Tanker or VLGC Vessels
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Proficiency in English communication
• Relevant tanker/gas carrier experience as required by the employer
