Pumpman for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Pumpman for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting cargo operations, operating and maintaining cargo pumping systems, and ensuring safe handling of liquid cargo in accordance with vessel procedures and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor cargo pumps and related equipment.
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging, stripping, and tank operations.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of cargo systems.
• Follow tanker safety, cargo handling, and pollution-prevention procedures.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates for the position.
• Relevant Pumpman experience on tanker vessels.
• Oil/Chemical tanker experience is required or preferred.
