Job Description:
ASM is inviting applications from qualified Pumpman to join its chemical tanker fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting cargo pump operations, maintaining cargo-handling equipment, and assisting with safe loading and discharging operations in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated equipment.
- Assist with chemical cargo loading, discharging, and transfer operations.
- Inspect cargo lines, valves, and pumping systems.
- Follow cargo-handling procedures and onboard safety regulations.
- Report equipment defects and support routine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Pumpman, preferably on chemical tankers.
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Relevant tanker experience and certificates as required.
