Job Description:
Vessel Type: Chemical Oil Tanker (Oil/Chem)
Grace Marine and Shipping Corporation is recruiting an experienced Pumpman to join its Chemical Oil Tanker fleet operating on Far-East trading routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of cargo pumping systems while ensuring safe cargo transfer operations. Tentative joining is scheduled for 20 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and maintain cargo pumps, pipelines, and associated equipment.
Assist with loading, discharging, and tank cleaning operations.
Monitor cargo transfer systems to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of pumping equipment.
Comply with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Only Filipino Nationals
Minimum 2 years of experience as Pumpman
Previous experience on Chemical Oil Tankers
Knowledge of cargo pumping systems and cargo handling procedures
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: As per company policy
Joining Date: Tentatively 20 September 2026
Salary: USD 1,900/month
