Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting an experienced Pumpman to join a Bunkering Vessel. The vacancy is part of a crew requirement for a vessel with steam turbine experience.
The successful candidate should have previous Pumpman experience and a strong understanding of cargo pumping systems, bunkering operations, and onboard safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and monitor cargo and bunkering pumps and associated systems.
Assist with safe loading, transfer, and discharge operations.
Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of pumps and cargo equipment.
Monitor tanks, valves, pipelines, and cargo systems during operations.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures during bunkering operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Pumpman.
Experience onboard bunkering vessels is preferred.
Steam turbine vessel experience – required/preferred according to employer specification.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Good English communication skills.
Good knowledge of cargo and pumping systems.
Strong safety awareness.
