Job Description:
Star Ocean Manning Philippines Inc. is recruiting Oilers for tanker vessels. The Oiler will assist the engineering department with engine room operations, machinery monitoring, lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with routine engine room operations.
Monitor and lubricate machinery as instructed.
Assist with maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
Report machinery abnormalities to engineering officers.
Maintain engine room areas in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Relevant Oiler qualification, where applicable
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant engine room experience
Previous tanker vessel experience preferred
