Oiler / Welder for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

KJCM Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced Oiler / Welder to join a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier.

The candidate must have experience working as an Oiler No. 1 as well as welding experience. The successful applicant will assist the engine department with machinery maintenance and support welding and repair activities onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting engineers with routine engine-room operations and maintenance.
• Carrying out lubrication and machinery checks.
• Supporting welding and fabrication work onboard.
• Assisting with repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Maintaining a safe and clean engine-room and work environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as an Oiler.
• Oiler No. 1 experience required.
• Welding experience required.
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Relevant bulk carrier experience preferred.
