Oiler for VLCC Tanker Vessel

Job Description

An experienced Oiler is required to join a Very Large Crude Carrier. The Oiler will support the engine department with machinery watchkeeping, lubrication, maintenance, and general engine-room operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with engine-room watchkeeping.
• Supporting maintenance and lubrication of machinery.
• Cleaning and maintaining engine-room equipment.
• Assisting engineers with inspections and repairs.
• Following VLCC engine-room safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous Oiler experience on VLCC or relevant tanker vessels.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid US Visa preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
