Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Oiler to join a Tanker vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery maintenance, engine-room operations, lubrication, cleaning, and other assigned duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting engineering officers with routine machinery maintenance.
- Supporting engine-room watchkeeping duties.
- Carrying out lubrication and basic machinery checks.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the engine room.
- Assisting with repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Following onboard safety procedures and engineering instructions.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an Oiler on Tanker vessels.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good knowledge of engine-room safety procedures.
